[01.04.2012] With sugar? Yes please!

M.F. snc Macchine Automatiche builds high-performance machines for precisely

Espresso without sugar is not really espresso. In Europe alone, coffee connoisseurs consume several million packets of this sweet crystalline powder every year. As the unit price is less than half a cent, the sugar envelopes must be filled as cost-effectively as possible, and with high throughput rates. The Italian manufacturer M.F. snc Macchine Automatiche builds high-performance machines for precisely this task: its Stick Pack type filling machine fills up to 600 elongated sugar packets per minute on ten lines.

[20.02.2011] Quick change artist

A new screen printing line built by Kammann minimizes the time needed to change out the inking unit and thus saves money.

One hour – that’s the maximum time needed to ready the K15 CNC screen printing press for the next job. Refitting conventional presses can take as much as four hours and extensive mechanical work is involved. A single set-up cycle can thus consume half the running time available in a shift.
